STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) LICHFIELD CATHEDRAL TO TAMWORTH CASTLE RUN 2023

Various Roads in The County of Staffordshire. Notice is hereby given that the
Staffordshire County Council will make an Order on the 4th April 2023 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in those roads in the District of Lichfield District and Borough of Tamworth that comprise the route of the Lichfield Cathedral to Tamworth Castle Run 2023 as summarised below. Any vehicle being used in connection with the event; or being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purpose will be exempt from the restrictions contained in the Order

The restrictions are necessary to maintain the safety of all participants and road users.
No alternative routes are advised for affected traffic as the restrictions will only be effective for so long as is necessary for the participants to pass.

The Order will not at any time prevent access of pedestrians to properties situated on or adjacent to any road to which the order relates or to any properties only accessible to pedestrians from such a road.

Bird Street, The Close, Dam Street, Market Street, Breadmarket Street, Bore Street, Tamworth Street, Greenhill, A5127 Birmingham Road, A5127 Church Street, Rotten Row, Sturgeons Hill, Boley Lane, Broad Lane, Coltman Close, Cycleway from Boley Cottage Lane to Newlyn Close, Link Footway From Coltman Close to Cycleway, Boley Cottage Lane, Ryknild Street and Danford Lane, Lichfield; Darnford Lane, Heath Road and Marsh Lane, Darnford; Darnford Lane, Lichfield Road, Church Street and Common Lane, Whittington; School Lane and A51 Lichfield Road, Hopwas; A51 Lichfield Road, Coton Lane, Fontenaye Road, Roman Way, Edgar Close, Old Cotton Lane,Anders,Apollo, Halford Street, Wardle Street, Moor Street, A51 Lichfield Road, B5493 Lichfield Street, Lichfield Street, Cycleway from Devereux House Access Road to Ladybridge Cycleway, Cycleway From Holloway to Amington Road, Link Footway from around Castle grounds to Riverside, Tamworth.

Bird Street, Rotten Row, Darnford Lane, Lichfield; Darnford Lane, Heath Road, Marsh Lane, Darnford; Darnford Lane, Church Street, Common Lane, Whittington; Moor Street, B5493 Lichfield Street, Wardle Street, Halford Street, Tamworth

IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE ROADS WILL BE CLOSED FROM 08:00 HOURS.
THE ROAD WILL RE-OPEN ONCE THE EVENT HAS CONCLUDED WHICH IS
ANTICIPATED TO BE BY 17:00 HOURS.

The Order will come into operation on the 16th April 2023 and will remain in force until the event has concluded. The event is being organised by Rotary Clubs of Lichfield, Lichfield St Chad, Tamworth & Tamworth Anker.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND TEMPORARY 20 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION

Various Roads in Staffordshire. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 4th April 2023 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along and travelling above 20 mph on the following roads listed in Schedule
1. The Order will come into operation on 10th April 2023 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date taking place between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 or 18:00 and 06:00 as site requirements dictate. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 31st October 2023. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the preventative carriageway treatment works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the roads have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

Hawks Green Lane, Cannock. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County
Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit vehicular traffic from proceeding along Hawks Green Lane, Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=132717522. The Order will come into operation on 25th April 2023 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by the end of the same day. The Order will remain in force foraperiod of 18 months or until the bridge
signage installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 4th April 2023 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

Overton Lane, Hammerwich. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=132605219. The Order will come into operation on 11th April 2023 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the work to access the BT underground network which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road
have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Brookhay Lane, Hilliards Cross. For more information regarding access
arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm= 132642638. The Order will come into operation on 8th April 2023 and the said works (which will take place overnight between the hours of 22:00 and 09:00) will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 9th April 2023. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Wig Wag replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been
completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 30th March 2023 make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

Orange Lane,Abbots Bromley. Formore information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=132363913. The Order will come into operation on 11th April 2023 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 13th April 2023. The Order will remain in force foraperiod of 18 months or until the new water mains are connected, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been
completed, whichever is the earlier

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:


A513 Croxall Road, Croxall. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=132963260. The Order will come into operation on 24th April 2023 and the said works(which isscheduled to take place overnight between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00) will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 28th April 2023. The Order will remain in force foraperiod of 18 months or until the bridge structure
works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
