What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS,
TUNBRIDGE WELLS) (CAR CLUB PARKING 
PLACES) (EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2023
The Kent County Council acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers has recently made an Order. The effect of the Order will be to prevent:
1. Any vehicle not displaying a valid car club permit to wait at any time in the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Order.
This order shall come into effect on 24 April 2023 and remain in effect for a period not exceeding 18 months. A copy of the Order, relevant plans and other documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the Amelia, Monson Road, Tunbridge Wells and online at twbc.online/carclub Kent County Council will be considering in due course whether the provisions of the experimental Order shall be continued indefinitely. Within a period of 6 months any person may support or object to the making of this experimental Order;
a. beginning with the day in which the experimental Order was made or
b. if that order is varied by another order or modified pursuant to section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, beginning with the day on which the variation or modification came into force
You should state your reasons in writing to the Parking Manager, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, Town Hall, Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN1 1RS or online at twbc.online/carclub to be received no later than 12 October 2023.
