ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
U6002 ESHOTTHEUGH JUNCTION TO BLACKBROOK FARM JUNCTION FELTON (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by motor vehicles on a Byway Open to All Traffic on the section of the U6002 Eshottheugh Junction to Blackbrook Farm Junction starting 125 metres south east of its junction with Blackbrook Farm heading south for a length of 550 metres with the following exceptions in the County of Northumberland.
• Equestrians
• Pedestrians
• Cyclists including motor cyclists
• Farm vehicles
The Order is to be effective from the 30th March 2023 until the 30th September 2023.
It is expected that the byway open to all traffic will be closed from the 30th March 2023 until 30th September 2023 and that it will be closed at all times during this period.
There is no alternative route available for motor vehicular traffic.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for works to be executed namely repairs particularly to the breached and eroded fording point of Longdike Burn.
