TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8001 NORTH HILL, RUSHBROOKE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8001 North Hill, Rushbrooke from Sicklesmere Road to Sandy Lane to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be North Hill, Poplar Meadow, Linkwood Road, Bury Road, The Street, Little Whelnetham Road, the A134 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/03/2023 - 23/03/2023 with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A1071 HANDFORD ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A1071 Handford Road, Ipswich from no. 28 for 20 metres westbound to facilitate a new water supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

• Clockwise: Civic Drive, Franciscan Way, Grey Friars Road, Bridge Street, Grafton Way, Commercial Road, Chancery Road, West End Road and no vice versa

• Anti-Clockwise: West End Road, Chancery Road, Grafton Way, Bridge Street, Grey Friars Road, Franciscan Way, Civic Drive and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 27/03/2023 - 29/03/2023 from 7pm - 6am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE C658 HIGHAM ROAD AND U7015 ROAD FROM THE C658, GAZELEY

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order for a temporary 30mph speed restriction on the;

• C658 Higham Road, Gazeley from 60 metres north east of the junction with Tithe Close to the Road from the C658, and

• U7015 Road from the C658, Gazeley from Higham Road for 400 metres south eastbound.

This is to facilitate safe access and egress. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

It is intended that these measures will operate from 27/03/2023 - 26/09/2024 (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C757 ST ANDREWS STREET SOUTH, BURY ST EDMUNDS

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C757 St Andrews Street South, Bury St Edmunds from Risbygate Street to Woolhall Street to facilitate the installation of a fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be;

• Southbound: Risbygate Street, Parkway North, Parkway South, Robert Boby Way and no vice versa

• Northbound: St Andrews Street South, Parkway South, Parkway North, Risbygate Street and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 27/03/2023 - 31/03/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months [or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C658 HIGHAM ROAD, GAZELEY

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C658 Higham Road, Gazeley from 200 metres east of the junction with Tithe Close for 350 metres eastbound to facilitate de-vegetation works, construction of a site access and installation of a new water main. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be The Street Gazeley, Dalham Road Gazeley, the C655 from Dalham to Gazeley, Gazeley Road, The Street Dalham, Lidgate Road, Denham Road, Dalham Road Ousden, Road from the C659 to the B1085, Barrow Road St Edmundsbury, Denham Lane, The Green, The Street Barrow, Colethorpe Lane, Barrow Road Barrow, Coalpit Lane, Lower Green and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 27/03/2023 - 14/04/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C733 Dorking Tye, Assington from Thatched Cottage to no. 44 to facilitate overhead works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be the B1508, the B1115, the A131, the A134, Barracks Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 28/03/2023 from 8am - 6pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister.

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1082 Undercliff Road West, Felixstowe from 37 metres east of Garrison Lane for 30 metres eastbound to facilitate a new water supply. The diversion route will be Sea Road, Beach Station Road, the A154 and vice versa.
