RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(CREMATORIUM ROAD, LLWYDCOED) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The closure is necessary to facilitate the construction and tie-in of new roundabout and associated link roads
The effect of the Order will be to close Crematorium Road, from the access road leading to Ty Gwyn Farm to its junction with A465 Heads of Valleys Road, a distance of 290 metres
Alternative Route – available via Crematorium Road, Cores Bychan Road, and Heads of the Valleys Road
Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency service vehicles
Access will be maintained to the Llwydcoed Crematorium and for local residents
The closure is expected to be in operation between the following dates, or until such time as the works has been completed:-
• Full Closures from 20th March – 22nd May 2023
