Access for residents, businesses and deliveries for Seagull Lane only.
No access to Sandstone Lane
Access to ExCeL London only. Car park, event traffic and commercial partners.
No access to Seagull Lane.
As part of our programme of environmental improvements, ExCeL London will be permanently closing the Sandstone Lane/Seagull Lane stretch of private road on the north side of the venue. The road will be closed at the Western Gateway intersection from 4th April 2023.
During a comprehensive traffic management review, a study revealed an increase in through-traffic unrelated to the venue, local residents or businesses on the estate which is now averaging 2,500 vehicles a day. The road closure will not only improve air quality, but also increase safety and security for those living and working on our campus.
