What is happening?

Notice Of Confirmed Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife And Countryside Act 1981 Hampshire County Council 
The Hampshire (Hart District No. 3) (Parish Of Yateley – Part Of Footpath 47, Bridleway 15 And Part Of Bridleway 17, 20A, 20B & 26) Public Path Diversion Order 2017 
On the 9 March 2023 Hampshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of 
the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert several of the public rights of way in the Parish of Yateley as described in the Schedule below. 
A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices of Hampshire County Council, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UJ, and at the offices of Hart District Council, Harlington Way, Fleet, GU51 4AE at all reasonable hours; and online at www.hants.gov.uk/publicnotices. Copies of the Order and the map can be provided on request. 
The Order comes into force when Hampshire County Council has certified that the work necessary to bring the new path into a fit condition for use by the public has been carried out, but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 17 March 2023 make an application to the High Court.

Description Of Site Of Existing Rights Of Way

That part of Footpath 47 in the Parish of Yateley in the District of Hart, that commences at Point A on the order plan and proceeds in an easterly then southerly direction to Point B, as shown on the Order map. A total length of 92 metres. 
From SU 8103 5969 to SU 8172 5888 
The entire length of Bridleway 15 in the Parish of Yateley in the District of Hart that commences at Point L on the order plan and proceeding in a generally southeasterly direction via Points D, M, N, P, Q, R, S and T to Point U, as shown on the Order map. A total length of 1070 metres. 
From SU 8165 5931 to SU 8131 5883 
That part of Bridleway 17 in the Parish of Yateley in the District of Hart that commences at Point J on the order plan and proceeds in a generally south-westerly direction via Points R, V, W and X to Point Y, as shown on the Order map. A total length of 615 metres. 
From SU 8200 5939 to SU 8204 5940 
That part of Bridleway 20a in the Parish of Yateley in the District of Hart that commences at Point Z on the order plan and proceeds in a generally north-easterly direction to Point AA. A total length of 35 metres. 
From SU 8227 5943 to SU 8235 5942 
That part of Bridleway 20b in the Parish of Yateley in the District of Hart that commences at Point BB on the order plan and proceeds in a generally southeasterly then easterly direction to Point CC. A total length of 87 metres. 
From SU 8106 5954 to SU 8199 5940 
That part of Bridleway 26 in the Parish of Yateley in the District of Hart that commences at Point C on the order plan and proceeds in a generally south-easterly, then north-easterly direction via Points D, E, F, G, H and J to Point K, as shown on the Order map. A total length of 985 metres.

Description Of Site Of New Right Of Way 

From SU 8101 5884 to SU 8102 5879 
A new 3 metre wide footpath, in the Parish of Yateley in the District of Hart, that commences at Point A and proceeds in a generally southerly direction to Point FF, as shown on the Order map. A total length of 53 metres. 
From SU 8103 5968 to SU 8116 5964 
A new 3 metre wide bridleway, in the Parish of Yateley in the District of Hart, that commences at Point SS and proceeds in a generally easterly, then south-easterly direction to Point TT, as shown on the Order map. A total length of 155 metres. 
From SU 8104 5938 to SU 8198 5938 
A new 3 metre wide bridleway, in the Parish of Yateley in the District of Hart, that commences at Point HH and proceeds in a generally easterly direction via Points JJ, KK, LL, MM, NN, PP and QQ to Point RR, as shown on the Order map. A total length of 1005 metres. 
From SU 8227 5943 to SU 8225 5936 
A new 3 metre wide bridleway, in the Parish of Yateley in the District of Hart, that commences at Point BB and proceeds in a southerly direction to Point A4, as shown on the Order map. A total length of 81 metres. 
From SU 8123 5953 to SU 8118 5941 
A new 3 metre wide bridleway, in the Parish of Yateley in the District of Hart, that commences at Point UU and proceeds in a generally southerly, then south-westerly direction via Points VV and WW to Point JJ, as shown on the Order map. A total length of 154 metres. 
From SU 8165 5931 to SU 8134 5901 
A new 3 metre wide bridleway, in the Parish of Yateley in the District of Hart, that commences at Point J and proceeds in a generally south-easterly, then southerly, then westerly direction via Points A1 and A2 to Point XX, as shown on the Order map. A total length of 794 metres. 
From SU 8204 5940 to SU 8204 5936 
A new 3 metre wide bridleway, in the Parish of Yateley in the District of Hart, that commences at Point AA and proceeds in a southerly direction to Point A3, as shown on the Order map. A total length of 36 metres. 
From SU 8138 5941 to SU 8118 5889 
A new 3 metre wide bridleway, in the Parish of Yateley in the District of Hart, that commences at Point KK and proceeds in a generally southerly, then south-westerly, then westerly direction via Points P, XX, YY to Point ZZ, as shown on the Order map. A total length of 691 metres.
