What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(WOODHALL WAY, MOLESCROFT (PART))
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along part of Woodhall Way, Molescroft between numbers 1 Woodhall Way to 7 Woodhall Way from 09.00 hours to 14.30 hours.
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed works to provide and fix new cover to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works will be completed within the same day.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via the remainder of Woodhall Way, Wylies Road, North Bar Without, New Walk, Molescroft Road, Driffield Road and back onto Woodhall Way.
The road will be open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence on 20 March 2023 and continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
