What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
VARIOUS ROADS AT SOUTH ANSTON SHEFFIELD
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of
which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the eight parts of road
specified in the Schedule to this notice for periods of time between Monday
20th. March and Monday 1st. May 2023.
NOTICE is further given that there are no alternative routes for vehicles affected by
the Order, the roads are cul de sacs.
The reason for the prohibition is works are being or are proposed to be executed
on or near the roads (Telecom works).
Schedule
(i) Pine Avenue from its junction with Lockwood Avenue for the whole cul de sac.
(ii) Laurel Close from its junction with Hawthorne Avenue for the whole cul
de sac.
(iii) Willow Close from its junction with Lockwood Avenue for the whole cul de sac.
(iv) St. James Avenue from its junction with Lockwood Avenue and St Davids Drive
for the whole cul de sac.
(v) Lilac Close from its junction with Lockwood Avenue for the whole cul de sac.
(vi) Laburnum Close from its junction with Lockwood Avenue for the whole cul de sac.
(vii) Broom Grove from its junction with Lockwood Avenue & Windsor Walk for
the whole cul de sac.
(viii) Windsor Walk from its junction with Crowgate & Lockwood Avenue for the
whole cul de sac.
