What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF HILLINGDON
THE HILLINGDON (WAITING & LOADING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2023
THE HILLINGDON (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) TRAFFIC ORDER 2022 (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2023

Hillingdon Council gives notice that it proposes to make these Orders to:

1. Install ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions in sections of roads as set out in the Schedule to this notice below.
2. Install waiting restrictions operational ‘Monday to Friday 8.30am to 10.30am and 3.30pm to 4.30pm’ along the following sections of Sipson Lane, Sipson:
i) North side, from a point 35 metres west of the eastern kerb line of the dropped kerb of the entrance to Hayes and Harlington Sports Ground westwards for a distance of 326 metres.
ii) South Side, from a point 10 metres west of the western edge of the Gravel Pit Service Road westwards for a distance of 183 metres.
3. Install waiting restrictions operational ‘Monday to Friday 8am to 10am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm’ along the entire length of the southern side Botwell Common Road, Hayes adjacent to Lake Farm Country Park.
4. Make the temporary double yellow lines permanent at the junctions of Bury Street with Old Howletts Lane and Laburnum Grove, Ruislip.
5. Install a blue badge disabled parking bay outside No. 288 Addison Way, Hayes.
6. Convert part of the existing Zone HR residents permit holder parking place outside No. 82 Harlington Road, Hillingdon to a blue badge disabled parking bay.
7. Convert part of the existing Zone U8 residents permit holder parking place in Hillman Close, Uxbridge adjacent to No. 180b Harefield Road to a blue badge disabled parking bay.
8. Remove the following redundant disabled parking bays:
i) Outside No. 67 St Peters Road, Cowley
ii) Outside Chestnut House, Iffley Close, Uxbridge, restore as Zone U3 permit holder parking place.

Copies of the notice of proposals, proposed Orders together with full details, plans and the Council’s statement of reasons forthe proposals can be sent upon request or viewed online at https://www.hillingdon.gov.uk/improvement-schemesuntil 5th April 2023.
