What is happening?

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL 

(CROMWELL ROAD AND NORTH STREET, BEESTON) 

(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2023 (5318)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council Has Made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Beeston in the Borough of Broxtowe: -

Vehicles will be prohibited from Waiting At Any Time along the following length of road:

Cromwell Road, Beeston (south-west side) 
- From a point 10 metres south-east of its junction with North Street in a north-westerly direction to a point 10 metres north-west of that junction.

North Street, Beeston (northwest side) 
- From its junction with Cromwell Road in a southwesterly direction for 14 metres.

North Street, Beeston (southeast side) 
- From its junction with Cromwell Road in a southwesterly direction for 10 metres.

THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 17th MARCH 2023.

The proposals are being introduced to deal with inconsiderate parking at the junction.
