What is happening?
SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) Hyde Lane (Part), Marlborough; from its junction with High Street to its junction with Back Lane.
B) Hyde Lane (Part), Marlborough; from its junction with Back Lane to its junction with Cardigan Road.
C) Hyde Lane (Part), Marlborough; from its junction with Cardigan Road to its junction with St Johns Close
to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out excavation work to connect Gigaclear network and associated works.
Alternative route via Hyde Lane (unaffected length) - Frees Avenue - Kingsbury Street - High Street and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 03 April 2023 and the closures will be required consecutively until 17 April 2023.

D) C154 (Part), Kington St Michael and Kington Langley; from approximately 40m north of its junction with Allington Lane for a distance of approximately 90m in a southerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out final connection of new water main to existing pipework and associated works.
Alternative route via C154 (unaffected length) - A350 - A420 - B4039 - C86 - C72 - C154 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 04 April 2023 and the closure will be required for 3 days.

E) Blackcross (Part), Chippenham; from its junction with London Road to its junction with Habrels Close.
F) Long Close (Part), Chippenham; from its junction with Blackcross for a distance of approximately 40m in an easterly direction
to enable Wessex Water to carry out trial holes for upcoming flood mitigation scheme.
Alternative route E via Blackcross (unaffected length) - Long Close - London Road and vice versa. Alternative route F via Long Close (unaffected length) - London Road - Blackcross and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 03 April 2023 and closure E will be required until 14 April 2023 and Closure F will be required from 17 April 2023 until 21 April 2023.

G) C172 (Part), Yatton Keynell and Kington St Michael; from the track outside its property known as Broomfield Farm for a distance of approximately 470m in a north easterly direction to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out location and resolving blockages in telecoms ducting.
Alternative route via C172 (unaffected length) - C154 - C178 - C86 - C172 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 03 April 2023 and the closure will be required for 1 day.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
H) C89 (Part), Brokenborough; from outside its property known as Brokenborough Farmhouse to outside property known as Bakers House.
I) Church Lane, Brokenborough; from its junction with C89 for its entire length.
J) Fosse Road (Part), Brokenborough; from the entrance to its property known as Driftwood for a distance of approximately 215m in a westerly direction
to enable Bristol Water to carry out excavation of trial holes to prepare scheme for renovation of old water main.
Alternative route H via C89 (unaffected length) - B4014 - C68 - B4040 - C89 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
No alternative routes for closures I and J.
This Order will come into operation on 13 March 2023 and the closures will be required consecutively until 24 March 2023.

K) C68 (Part), Sherston; from its junction with B4040 to its junction with C94 to enable Wessex Water to carry out repairs and relining of failing sewers.
Alternative route via C68 (unaffected length) - Foxley Road - C27 - B4040 and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 13 March 2023 and the closure will be required until 24 March 2023.

L) C179 (Part), Yatton Keynell; from its property known as Ivy Farm for a distance of approximately 90m in a north easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out repair of mains leak.
Alternative route via C179 (unaffected length) - C86 - A420 - C164 and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 13 March 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 for 2 days.

M) Manor Lane (Part), Manningford; from its junction with A345 for a distance of approximately 55m in a north westerly direction.
N) Wick Lane (Part), Manningford; from its junction with A345 for a distance of approximately 5m in a northerly direction to enable an Openreach engineer to safely work in underground structure and associated works.
Alternative route M via Manor Lane (unaffected length) - Hen Lane - Sharcott Drove - A345 and vice versa.
No alternative route for N.
This Order will come into operation on 13 March 2023 and the closures will be required for 5 days.

O) Church Lane (Part), Mildenhall; from outside property known as The Glebe House, Church Lane for a distance of approximately 90m in a northerly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out installing a new supply and associated works.
No alternative route is available.
This Order will come into operation on 13 March 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 23:59 until 24 March 2023.

Orders A) to O) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
SECTION 16(A) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to temporarily close to all traffic:
A) Church Walk, Devizes; from its junction with A342 Nursteed Road to its junction with Brickley Lane. Alternative route via Brickley Lane - A361 Estcourt Street - A342 Nursteed and vice versa. And to close temporarily to all vehicular traffic under a rolling road closure:
B) A342 Nursteed Road, Devizes; from its junction with A360 Southbroom Road to its junction with Monument Hill.
C) Roseland Avenue (Part), Devizes; from its junction with Nursteed Road to its junction with Longcroft Avenue.
D) Longcroft Avenue, Devizes; from its junction with Roseland Avenue to its junction with Brickley Lane.
E) Brickley Lane (Part), Devizes; from its junction with Longcroft Avenue to its junction with Bricksteed Avenue.
F) Bricksteed Avenue, Devizes; from its junction with Brickley Lane to its junction with Nursteed Road.
The above closures B) to F) will be managed on a 'rolling road closure' basis and will be reopened to traffic as soon as safely possible to enable LPS Events to carry out Devizes Half Marathon and 10km race.
The closures and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 02 April 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 13:30 for one day and will recommence on 24 September 2023 between the hours of 08:00 and 12:00 for one day.
Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely.

A) Footpath 22 (Part), St Paul Malmesbury Without; from A429 leading east including the spur at Copse view until its junction with Footpath 23, St Paul Malmesbury Without to enable the development of the land to provide 27 dwellings as per planning application.
Alternative route via Footpath 23, St Paul Malmesbury Without - B4042 and vice versa.
This closure which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on 14 March 2023 and the closure will be required for 06 months.

B) Footpath 51A (Part) Calne Without; for a distance of approximately 20m either side of bridge to enable works programme for repairs to make bridge safe.
Alternative route via existing alternative highways and rights of way.
This closure which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on 16 March 2023 and the closure will be required for 06 months.

C) Footpath 1 (Part), Marston Meysey; from its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 20m in a northerly direction to enable repairs and maintenance to existing Environment Agency boreholes.
Alternative route via existing alternative rights of way and highways.
This Order will come into operation on 13 March 2023 and the closure will be required until 31 March 2023.

D) Footpath 25 (Part), Grafton; from its junction with C205 to its junction with Middle Road. E) Footpath 10 (Part), Grafton from its junction with Footpath 25, Grafton for a distance of approximately 52m in a south easterly direction to enable works associated with canal maintenance and improvements.
Alternative route using public highway and the public rights of way network. The works which were scheduled to finish on 17 March 2023 will now continue in force until 07 May 2023.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
1. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS, COLLINGBOURNE KINGSTON) (RESTRICTED ROADS) ORDER 2023
2. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (A338, COLLINGBOURNE KINGSTON AND COLLINGBOURE DUCIS) (40MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to revoke The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Collingbourne Kingston) (Restricted Roads) Order 2002 and The County of Wiltshire (A338 Collingbourne Kingston and Collingbourne Ducis) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2002 and re-enact them, in part, in the above Orders and to introduce a 30mph speed limit on A338, Collingbourne Kingston - from a point 50 metres north of its junction with UC 235601 to a point 148 metres north of that junction.
Deposit copies of the Orders, plans and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours.

NOTICE OF MODIFICATION ORDER SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
WILTSHIRE COUNCIL THE DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT FOR THE PEWSEY RURAL DISTRICT COUNCIL AREA DATED 1952 AS MODIFIED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL CHARLTON ST. PETER 2,6 AND WILSFORD 5 DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2023
The above order, made on 22nd February 2023, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by upgrading, footpath Charlton St. Peter 6 to restricted byway status (approximate length 190 metres, width between 5 and 9 metres) ,and two sections of bridleway Charlton St. Peter 2 to restricted byways status from SU 10710 56598 to SU 11162 55941 (approximate length of 880 metres and a width of 12.2 metres ) and the section from SU 11432 56024 to SU 11471 56052 (approximate length 50 metres, width of between 7 and 14 metres), and also upgrading bridleway Wilsford 5 to the status of restricted byway ( approximate length 475 metres, width of 6.1 metres).
