What is happening?

OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(ASTON ROWANT AND LEWKNOR AREA) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that on 6 March 2023 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The order which comes into force on 13 March introduces 20mph speed limits within Lewknor, South Weston & Postcombe, replacing the existing 30mph speed limits to points leading out of the villages as follows:

Lewknor:

1. Watlington Road - its junction with the B4009 Watlington Road,

2. Weston Road - a point 125 metres northwest of its junction with Barley Close.

South Weston:

3. Rectory Lane - for its entire length,

4. Weston Road - between points 170 metres southeast of its junction with Rectory Lane, and 125 metres south of its junction with Salt Lane.

Postcombe:

1. Box Tree Lane - for its entire length,

2. Lower Road - a point 492 metres north of its junction with the A40,

3. Salt Lane - a point 210 metres southwest of its junction with the A40.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Aston Rowant and Lewknor Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2022 is revoked/replaced.

(GREAT MILTON, LITTLE MILTON, GREAT HASELEY, AND TIDDINGTON WITH ALBURY AREA) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that on 6 March 2023 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The order which comes into force on 13 March introduces a 20mph speed limit throughout Little Milton, replacing the majority of the existing 30mph speed limit, leading out of the village to the following points:

1. A329 Thame Road (north of village) - a point 115 metres northeast of its junction with Old Field,

2. A329 Stadhampton Road (south of village) - a point 195 metres southwest of its junction with Gold Street,

3. Haseley Road - a point 40 metres southeast of its junction with Blenheim Road.

Sections of 30mph speed limit will remain as 'buffer' limits on the A329 Thame/Stadhampton Road at the northern & southern ends of the village.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Great Milton, Little Milton, Great Haseley, and Tiddington with Albury Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2022 revoked/replaced.
