Wiltshire, Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road/Footpath Closures due to Maintenance Works.
What is happening?
SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) C307 (Part), East Knoyle; from its property known as Landway House to its property known as Chaffeurs Cottage to enable Wessex Water to carry out mains and associated works. Alternative route via C307 (unaffected length) - A350 - C307 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 April 2023 and the closure will be required until 14 April 2023. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 6004600.
B) Highbury Avenue (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with A36 for a distance of approximately 100m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out excavation to repair sewer and associated works. Alternative route via Highbury Avenue (unaffected length) - A360 - A36 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 April 2023 and the closure will be required until 12 April 2023. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
C) C64 (Part), Wylye; for a distance of approximately 30m either side of level crossing to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out level crossing scheme and associated works. Alternative route C64 (unaffected length) - B3089 - C277 - C276 - A303 - C10 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 17 March 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 23:00 and 04:30 until 20 March 2023. D) Hoadley Green (Part), Salisbury; from its property known as No.30 Hoadley Green to its property known as No.18 Hoadley Green to enable SGN to carry out decommissioning and replacement of gas main and associated works. Alternative route via Hoadley Green (unaffected length) - Bishopdown Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 March 2023 and the closure will be required until 06 April 2023. Orders A) to D) will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

A) Footpath 58 (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Footpath 58A, Salisbury for a distance of approximately 200m in a southerly direction.
B) Footpath 58A, Salisbury; from its junction with Footpath 58, Salisbury for a distance of approximately 120m in a northerly direction to enable water hole trapping and relocation and channel narrowing works with the creation of berms. Alternative route via St Thomas Square - Silver Street - Minster Street - Castle Street - Mill Stream Approach and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 03 April 2023 and the closure will be required until 30 September 2023.

This Order will come into operation on 13 March 2023 and the closure will be required for 06 months.
