What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14(2) AND 14(7)
PART OF A630 CENTENARY WAY CANKLOW ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY 30 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT ORDER)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order
the effect of which is to temporarily suspend part of The Rotherham
Borough Council (Various Roads, Rotherham) (Speed Limits and Speed
Derestriction) (Consolidation) Order 2004 and reduce the speed limit
from 40 miles hour to 30 miles per hour for motor vehicles travelling
along that part of A630 Centenary Way, Canklow in both directions from
a point approximately 70m north of its junction with Ickles Roundabout
to a point approximately 170m south of Main Street from Wednesday
15th. March until Sunday 31st. December 2023.
The reason for the speed limit order is because works are being or are
proposed to be executed on or near the road (Repairs to damaged
central reservation).
