What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A617 CHESTERFIELD ROAD, DOE LEA
WHEN: 27th March 2023 to 31st March 2023 (20:00 to 06:00 each night)
WHERE: A617 Chesterfield Road, Doe Lea between Bramley Vale and its junction with M1 J29 Interchange.
REASON: To facilitate highway improvement works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Motorway Traffic - M1, A38, A6075, A617 (to point of closure) & vice versa. Non-Motorway Traffic - A617, B6425, A632, B6417, A617 (to point of closure) and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
