(Disabled Persons Parking Places) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hertsmere Borough Council, pursuant to arrangement made with Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into effect on 6th March 2023. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce disabled persons parking bays to improve the amenities of the roads and its surroundings, provide suitable parking to assist and enable blue badge holders to park close to their home and to reduce instances of inappropriate or inconsiderate parking as defined in the Traffic Regulation Order and incorporated maps.

SCHEDULE - Disabled Persons Parking Places At Any Time

Drayton Road, Borehamwood; Park View, Potters Bar; St John's Close, Potters Bar- as defined in the Traffic Regulation Order and accompanying map.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of the provision on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirements of the Act or of any instrument made under it have not been complied with may within six weeks from the date of this Notice, apply to the High Court for that purpose.
