What is happening?

Ceredigion County Council 
Notice is given that the Council have made the Ceredigion County Council (Restricted Byway 27/1, Footpaths 27/82 & 27/78 Pantmelyn, Cwm Ystwyth) (Temporary Prohibition of through Traffic) Order 2023 to prohibit any walkers, cyclists, horse riders or non-mechanically propelled vehicles from proceeding along the length of public rights of way known as Restricted Byway 27/1 & Footpaths 27/82 & 27/78 Pantmelyn, Cwm Ystwyth): running between SN7710:7330 near Dologau, SN7698:7272 near Bwlchgwallter, SN7748:7272 south of Nant-y-Cae & SN7789:7325 to the north-east of Nant-y-Cae. There is no alternative route. The proposed order is required to ensure public safety whilst infected trees are felled and processed. The Order was implemented on 06/03/2023 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months; this can be extended by applying to the Welsh Government.
