Connaught Road, Portsmouth - emporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Connaught Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.84) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 14th March 2023 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
CONNAUGHT ROAD
From its junction with Gladys Avenue to its junction with London Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate Openreach pole renewal works outside No. 17.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 09:30 to 15:30 on 14th March 2023 and 09:30 to 15:30 on 15th March 2023 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Gladys Avenue - London Road. Resident access will be maintained under marshal control between 09:30 - 15:30 on each day.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
