(Temporary Footway Closure Order 2023)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This is in accordance with section 15(8) of said Act and Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions will continue to be in force on the U9511 the Arcade from it’s junction with the U9511 Bondicar Terrace heading in a northerly direction for a distance of 30 metres in the County of Northumberland, because there is a likelihood of danger to the public which is not attributable to works but due to dangerous falling masonry.
Temporary Footway Closure:
A temporary road closure will be in force on the U9511 the Arcade from it’s junction with the U9511 Bondicar Terrace heading in a northerly direction for a distance of 30 metres in the County of Northumberland (“the Footway”).
The alternative route for pedestrian traffic will be via Waterloo Road, Havelock Street, Bondicar Terrace and vice-versa.
This Order came into force on 27th February 2023 and will remain in force until 18th August 2023.
