KIRKLEES COUNCIL

(FITZWILLIAM STREET, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Fitzwilliam Street, Huddersfield from its junction with St John’s Road to its junction with Viaduct Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Viaduct Street, John William Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Sunday, 19th March 2023 and remain in force until 21st March 2023 between 22:00 - 07:00 hours each day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(HOLMDALE CRESCENT/DENHAM DRIVE/DEAN AVENUE, NETHERTHONG, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Netherthong, Holmfirth:-
Holmdale Crescent - from its junction with Moor Lane to the end
Denham Drive - from its junction with Holmdale Crescent to the end
Dean Avenue - from its junction with Denham Drive to its junction with Miry Lane
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the 
works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Moor Lane, Knoll Lane, Oldfield Road, Miry Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 20th March 2023 and remain in force until 31st March 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(RAVENSKNOWLE ROAD, DALTON, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Ravensknowle Road, Dalton from its junction with Brian Avenue to its junction with Wakefield Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Ravensknowle Road, Lister Street, Wakefield Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 20th March 2023 and remain in force until 12th April 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WESTGATE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Westgate, Huddersfield from a point outside property no. 19a to a point outside property no. 25a PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Westgate, Railway Street, St George’s Square, John William Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Thursday, 23rd March 2023 between 00:15 - 05:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(PLAINS LANE, MARSDEN, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that short length of Plains Lane, Marsden from its junction with Spring Head Lane for approximately 20 metres PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
There is no alternative diversionary route available. Access maintained for residents and Emergency Service Vehicles only.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Thursday, 23rd March 2023 only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(UPPER HOUSE ROAD, HADE EDGE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Upper House Road, Hade Edge from a point outside Upper House Farm for approximately 80 metres towards Boshaw Whams Reservoir PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of 
Upper House Road, Little Cake, Scholes Moor Road, Penistone Road, Strines Moor Road and vice versa.It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday, 23rd March 2023 and remain in force until 24th March 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BANKS ROAD, HONLEY, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Banks Road, Honley from its junction with Oldfield Road for approximately 60 metres towards Far End Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Banks Road, Far End Lane, Southgate, Eastgate, Woodhead Road, Hagg Wood Road and vice versa.It is intended that the closure will operate on Friday, 24th March 2023 only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(SOUTH LANE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of South Lane, Holmfirth from its junction with Newgate Fold to its junction with New Laithe Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of South Lane, Cinder Hills Road, Sandy Gate, Ryecroft Lane, Cross Gate Road, Dunford Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday, 20th February 2023 only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(SWAN LANE, LOCKWOOD, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Swan Lane, Lockwood from its junction with Bentley Street to its junction with Howarth Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Park Road, Yews Hill Road, North Street, the unaffected length of Swan Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday, 4th March 2023 and remain in force until 5th March 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(ROYD STREET, MILNSBRIDGE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Royd Street, Milnsbridge from its junction with Dale Street to its junction with Botham Hall Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Botham Hall Road, Dale Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Sunday, 5th March 2023 and remain in force until 31st March 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WAINGATE/BRIDGE STREET/NEWSOME ROAD SOUTH, BERRY BROW, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Berry Brow, Huddersfield:-Road Closures
Waingate - from its junction with Woodhead Road to its junction with Bridge Street
Bridge Street - from its junction with Waingate to its junction with Newsome Road South
Newsome Road South - from its junction with Bridge Street to a point approximately 20 metres north of Caldercliffe Road

Point Closures
Deadmanstone - at its junction with Waingate
School Lane - at its junction with Waingate
Wain Park - at its junction with Bridge Street
Lady House Lane - at its junction with Bridge Street
Birch Road - at its junction with Newsome Road South
Caldercliffe Road - at its junction with Newsome Road South
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Woodhead Road, Bridge Street, Lockwood Scar, Church Lane, Newsome Road South and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 6th March 2023 and remain in force until 22nd March 2023 between 18:00 - 23:59 hours each day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BARCROFT ROAD, NEWSOME, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Barcroft Road, Newsome from its junction with Close Hill Lane to its junction with Lockwood Scar PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Lockwood Scar, Croftlands, Close Hill Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 6th March 2023 and remain in force until 31st March 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(CARR TOP LANE, GOLCAR, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Golcar, Huddersfield:-Road Closure
Carr Top Lane - from its junction with Church Street to its junction with Brook Lane

Point Closures
The following lengths of road at their junction with Carr Top Lane:- Deal Lane, Clay Well, Handel Street
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(DIRKER DRIVE/GRANGE STREET, MARSDEN, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Marsden, Huddersfield:-
Road Closures
Dirker Drive - from its junction with Station Bridge to its junction with Grange Street
Grange Street - from its junction with Dirker Drive to its junction with Marsden Lane
Point Closures
The following lengths of road at their junction with Dirker Drive/Grange Street, Marsden:- Dirker Bank Road, Dirker Avenue, Grange Cottage, Grange Avenue
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(MARK STREET, PADDOCK, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Mark Street, Paddock from its junction with Cross Church Street to its junction with School Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
There is no alternative diversionary route available. Access maintained for residents and Emergency Service Vehicles only.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Thursday, 9th March 2023 between 08:00 - 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(PARK AVENUE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Park Avenue, Huddersfield from its junction with Trinity Street to its junction with Park Drive South PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Trinity Street, Gledholt Road, Park Drive South and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 6th March 2023 and remain in force until 24th March 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LEEDS ROAD/BRADLEY MILLS ROAD/BARR STREET, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Huddersfieldas follows:-
Road Closure
Leeds Road - from its junction with Canal Street to its junction with Red Doles Lane
Point Closures
Bradley Mills Road - at its junction with Leeds Road
Barr Street - at its junction with Leeds Road
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Leeds Road, Bradley Road, Bradford Road, Northgate, Southgate and vice versa.
The closure which came into operation on Wednesday, 25th January 2023 has been extended to remain in force for a further period until 16th March 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LEEDS ROAD/LOWER FITZWILLIAM STREET/GASWORKS STREET/ACCESS TO GREAT NORTHERN RETAIL PARK, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed 
to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person 
shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Huddersfield:-
Leeds Road - from its junction with Great Northern Street to its junction with Hillhouse Lane
Lower Fitzwilliam Street- from its junction with Leeds Road to its junction with Great Northern Street
Gasworks Street - from its junction with Leeds Road to its junction with St Andrew’s Road 
Access Great Northern Retail Park - from its junction with Leeds Road for approximately 30 metres
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Hillhouse Lane,
Great Northern Street, Lower Fitzwilliam Street, Southgate and vice versa.
The closure which came into operation on Monday, 6th February 2023 has been extended to remain in force for a further period until 16th March 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
