ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council ("the Council") has on 22 February 2023 made the Orders named below under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when they come into operation on 27 February 2023 will introduce various changes to the waiting or parking restrictions in the part or parts of the roads identified:

Shared Permit or Pay & Display Parking Places Monday to Sunday - 9am to 8pm - Low Tariff Medium Term - 4 hours (No return within 4 hours) - Amend in:- Carlton Hill & Richmond Street

- Proposed Motorcycle Bay in Osborne Road - This has been withdrawn from the order.
- Proposed removal of Car Club Bay in Havelock Road - This has been withdrawn from the order.
- Proposed removal of Loading Bay in Preston Road - This has been withdrawn from the order
BRIGHTON & HOVE OUTER AREAS (WAITING, LOADING AND PARKING) AND CYCLE LANES CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2018 AMENDMENT ORDER NO.1 2023 (REF: TRO-24B-2022)

Modifications
Some changes to the orders as originally proposed and advertised on 15 July 2022 are as follows:-Brighton & Hove Outer Areas (Waiting, Loading and Parking) and Cycle Lanes Consolidation Order 2018 Amendment Order No.1 2023
- Proposed Double Yellow Lines in North Lane -This has been withdrawn from the order.
- Proposed Double yellow lines at Junction of Woodland Way & Braybon Avenue - The double yellow lines in Woodland Way will be reduced to 5 metres.
- Proposed double yellow lines in Braybon Avenue at Junction with Old Farm Road - These have been reduced from 19 metres to 16 metres.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirements of the Act or of any instrument made under it have not been complied with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.
