Wiltshire, Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road/Bridleway Closures due to Maintenance Works.
What is happening?
SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) Hoopers Pool (Part), Southwick; from its western junction with A361 to its eastern junction with A361 to enable Wessex Water to carry out mains and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 20 March 2023 and the closure will be required until 23 June 2023. B) A361 (Part), Semington; from its roundabout junction with C395 to its roundabout junction with A350.
C) A361 (Part), Semington; from its roundabout junction with A350 for a distance of approximately 300m in an easterly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, replacement of road markings and associated works of the A350/A361 Littleton Roundabout.
Alternative route phase 1 via A350 - A363 - A361 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route phase 2 via A361 (unaffected length) - A365 - A350 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 23 March 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 01 April 2023.
B) will take place on the following dates: 23 March, 29 March 30 March and 31 March 2023.
C) will take place on the following dates: 24 March, 27 March, 28 March and 31 March 2023.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
D) Slag Lane (Part), Westbury; from its junction with Turntable Place to its junction with Frogmore Road to enable Tonic Construction to carry out remedial and associated works. Alternative route Frogmore Road - Rosefield Way - B3097 - Slag Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 27 February 2023 and the closure will be required until 10 March 2023. For further information please contact Tonic Construction on 01672 539099.
E) A363 (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its roundabout junction with B3108 to its junction with Ashley Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out road lining and associated works. Alternative route via A363 (unaffected length) - B3105 - B3109 - A363 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 01 March 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 20:00 for 1 hour. Orders A) to E) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users:
Bridleway 12 (Part), Cheverell Magna; from its junction with Footpath 1, Cheverell Magna for a distance of approximately 80m in a north westerly direction to enable rail bridge repair works. The Bridleway will be closed at the bridge for equestrian users only.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 27 February 2023 and the closure will be required until 28 April 2023. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 06 months.
