NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Council have made these Orders under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53,101 and 102 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended) the effect of which will be as follows:
1. To introduce and amend waiting, loading and stopping restrictions on lengths of HURST STREET and THORP STREET
2. To introduce Pedestrian Zone restrictions along a length of HURST STREET and LADYWELL WALK
3. To introduce a No Right Turn restriction on HURST STREET at its junction with Smallbrook Queensway
A copy of the Orders together with the plans and a statement of the Council’s reasons will be made available on request. (Contact Jas Chahal email: transport.projects@birmingham.gov.uk).
If any person wishes to question the validity of these orders or of any of the provisions contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to these Orders may within 6 weeks from the 2nd March 2023 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
