Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
ASHFORD AREA
A28 CANTERBURY ROAD, GODMERSHAM (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow plant collection and delivery to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of
Canterbury Road, Godmersham, on or after 20th March 2023 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of A28 Ashford Road and A252 Maidstone Road, between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A28 Ashford Road, A252 Maidstone Road, A252 The Street, A252 Canterbury Road, A251 Buck Street,
A251 Faversham Road, A2042 Faversham Road, A28 Canterbury Road and vice versa.
FRITTENDEN ROAD, BIDDENDEN TN27 8LG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow excavation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Frittenden Road,
Biddenden, on or after 6th March 2023 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of A274 Headcorn Road and A262 Sissinghurst Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A274 Headcorn Road, North Street, High Street, A262 Sissinghurst Road and vice versa.
GEORGE WILLIAMS WAY, KENNINGTON TN24 9RX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow manhole frame and cover replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of George Williams Way, Kennington, on or after 21st
March 2023 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of A2070 Willesborough Road and A28 Canterbury Road, between the hours of 19:00 and 05:00 only, to the
extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via George Williams Way, A2070 Willesborough Road, A28 Canterbury Road and vice versa
HAMPDEN LANE, ASHFORD TN23 6JA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hampden Lane, Ashford, on or after 6th March 2023 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed, between the junctions of Hampden Road and Kingsnorth Road, to the actual extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. Rescind no entry sign at the end of Hampton Lane to make it two way.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Kingsnorth Road, Hampden Road, Hampden Lane and vice versa, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
MUNDY BOIS ROAD, PLUCKLEY TN27 9EU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow overhead works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mundy Bois Road Junction, Pluckley, on or after 22nd March 2023 for up to 6 hours or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Rock Hill Road and The Pinnock, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Rock Hill Road, New Road, Egerton Road, Smarden Road, The Pinnock and vice versa. The alternative route for any through traffic is via Rock Hill Road, New Road, Egerton Road, Smarden Road, The Pinnock and vice versa.
STATION ROAD, PLUCKLEY TN27 0QZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow excavation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Station Road,
Pluckley, on or after 6th March 2023 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Chambers Green Road and Lamden Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Lambden Road, Smarden Road, Chambers Green Road, Station Road and vice versa.
SWAN LANE, LITTLE CHART TN27 0PT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
To allow cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Swan Lane, Little Chart, on or after 7th March 2023 for up to 6 hours or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only, between the junctions of Swan Lane and Charing Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Swan Lane, Little Chart Road, West Street, School Road, Station Road, Cades Road, A20 Maidstone Road, A20 Ashford Road, Pluckley Road, Charing Road and vice versa
