What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF U-TURN KILN WAY, WOODVILLE ORDER 2023

Notice is hereby given that Derbyshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from making a U-turn manoeuvre at the junctions described in Schedule 1 below.
WHEN: 17th March 2023 to 16th September 2024
WHERE: Kiln Way, Woodville

REASON: To prohibit all motor vehicles and non-motorised vehicles from performing a U-turn manoeuvre from the south- east bound carriageway to the north-west bound carriageway at its junction with Woodhouse Street, Woodville.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Traffic should continue in a south- easterly direction to the roundabout junction, returning on the north-westerly bound carriageway via this junction.
SCHEDULE 1 - Prohibition of U-turn

Kiln Way, Woodville From the south-east bound carriageway to the north-west bound carriageway at its junction with Woodhouse Street.

The lengths of road fall within the parish of Woodville in the County of Derbyshire.
