CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

SHANN LANE, KEIGHLEY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works to be executed on or near Shann Lane, Keighley has made the above-named Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Shann Lane from a point outside Holmefield to a point outside The Lodge.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via West Lane (unaffected section), West Lane, High Street, North Street, Spring Gardens Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 27th February 2023 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 10th March 2023 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
