Viking School Street - Road Traffic Regulation to Create a Pedestrian and Cyclist Zone

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING
VIKING PRIMARY SCHOOL STREET THE EALING (VIKING SCHOOL STREET) (NO. 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2023

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, on the 24th February 2023 made the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2 The general effect of the Order will be to create a pedestrian and cyclist zone for Viking Primary School operating between 8.30am and 9.15am and between 2.45pm and 3.45pm on Mondays to Fridays in Radcliffe Way between Canberra Drive and Broomcroft Avenue Residents living in the above length of Radcliffe Way and in Woburn Tower will be able to apply for a SS34 school streets zone permit to be issued for their vehicle so that they can access their properties during the above school street times

3. The Order, which will come into operation on 28th February 2023, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order including plans, are available by e-mail from trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk or by inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until the 7th April 2023

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any relevant requirements thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by the 7th April 2023.
