Northwold Drive - Road Closure to Facilitate Utility Works

What is happening?

MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL 

TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED) Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): 

ORDER NO. MCC132533025: The City of Manchester (Northwold Drive, Charlestown Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffi c) Order 2023 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Northwold Drive Northwold Drive to cul-de-sac. There are no alternative routes for traffic. 

The City Council is satisfi ed that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate utility works. It is expected that the works will be in progress from on 1st March 2023 between the hours of 09:30 and 16:00. 

The order shall come into operation on 1st March 2023 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. 

If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
