(Abberton Road, Fingringhoe) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Abberton Road, Fingringhoe in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 80m south west of its junction with Haye Lane for a distance of approximately 95m in south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th March 2023 for 1 day or where stated on a valid permit (BC005WDMV9P5V - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole installation works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Abberton Road, School Lane, Mersea Road, Abbots Road, Old Heath Road, Fingringhoe Road, Rowhedge Road, Chapel Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 2nd March 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Chapel Road, West Bergholt) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel Road, West Bergholt in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Lexden Road to its junction with Colchester Road a distance of approximately 860m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th March 2023 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2340393 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage/ironworks replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Lexden Road, Colchester Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 2nd March 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Colchester Road, Salcott) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Salcott in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 60m north east of its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 110m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th March 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WDMM586J-POLE - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Whitehouse Hill, Station Road, North Street, Kelvedon Road, Oxley Hill, D'arcy Road, Factory Hill, Church Road, Maypole Road, Maldon Road, Maldon Road South, Shrub End Road, Beaconsfield Avenue, Butt Road, Layer Road, High Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 2nd March 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Ecn03072, Colchester) (Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in that length of Ecn03072, Colchester in the City of Colchester from its junction with East Bay for a distance of approximately 75m in a south easterly direction.

"The Essex County Council (Colchester City) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street

Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include

the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing

parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions

contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The restriction is scheduled to commence on 20th March 2023 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid

permit (EP201EH10003706 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with

appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of

the public and workforce while investigation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

The Order will come into effect on 2nd March 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the

works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(East Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of East Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 25m east of its junction with Old Coach Road for a distance of approximately 45m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th March 2023 for 2 nights (23:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL701COC-53-13-200322 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while rail works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

An alternative route is available via East Street, Ipswich Road, Ipswich Road Roundabout, St Andrews Avenue, Harwich Road Roundabout, Harwich Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 2nd March 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Layer Road, Abberton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Layer Road, Abberton in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Peldon Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th March 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA57883569 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Layer Road, Mersea Road, Blackheath, Berechurch Hall Road, Bounstead Road, Bounstead Hill, Abberton Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 2nd March 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Pownall Crescent, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pownall Crescent, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Mersea Road to its junction with Berechurch Road a distance of approximately 360m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd March 2023 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2333360 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Mersea Road, Berechurch Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 2nd March 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Tiptree Road, Messing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tiptree Road, Messing in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 550m north east of its junction with Colchester Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd March 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03059597296 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while meter exchange works are undertaken by Anglian Water An alternative route is available via Kelvedon Road, Maypole Road, Colchester Road and vice versa (with access only into Messing Road and Yewtree Farm Road).

The Order will come into effect on 2nd March 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Middle Green, Wakes Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Middle Green, Wakes Colne in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 130m south west of its junction with Inworth Lane for a distance of approximately 145m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th March 2023 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WD0WJ44GA - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Middle Green, Inworth Lane, Bures Road, Lower Green and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 16th February 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Port Lane/Artillery Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Port Lane, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 20m south of Lenz Close for a distance of approximately 30m in a southerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Artillery Street, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Port Lane for a distance of approximately 60m in a westerly direction.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 11th March 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01459563249/3 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Anglian Water. Alternative routes are available via:

1. Barrack Street, Wimpole Road, Old Heath Road, Recreation Road and vice versa (with access only into Port Lane, Artillery Street and New Park Street).

2. Artillery Street, Barrack Street and vice versa (with access only into Port Lane, Artillery Street and New Park Street).

The Order came into effect on 16th February 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of Clearway) Order (No.3) 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in the schedule.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 16th February 2023, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Water Lane, Little Horkesley in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 600m north east of its junction with Fishponds Hill for a distance of approximately 180m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th March 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30041350805-UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Horkesley Hill, London Road, Fishponds Hill and vice versa (with access only into Water Lane).

The Order came into effect on 16th February 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
