What is happening?

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 16th February 2023 has made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

The general effect of the Orders would be:-

Description

Alexandra Park Road N10

To install Double Kerb Markings (no loading at any time) on both sets of the Double Yellow Lines at the Rosebery Road junction and extend the Double Yellow Line outside Alexandra Local Express by 4.2 metres.

Burghley Road, Vernon Road & Wargrave N8

To formalise the operational times of all the shared use Pay by Phone/Resident Permit Holders Only bays at the Turnpike Lane junction to Pay by Phone 8am-7pm maximum stay 2 hours and no return 2 hours and Resident Permit Holders only 7pm-10pm.

Clarence Road N22

To extend the Double Yellow Line outside no’s.19/21 east by 6.7 metres.

Crouch End Hill N8

To amend the operational hours of the Pay by Phone bay on the west side of the carriageway opposite the Railway Tavern pub to Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm maximum stay 4 hours and no return within 2 hours with a No Waiting/Loading restriction Monday-Saturday 7am-10am & 4pm-7pm.

Craven Park Road & Elm Park Avenue N15

To formalise the shared use Pay by Phone/Permit Holders Only bay adjacent to the flank wall of no.105 Craven Park Road on Elm Park Avenue N15 and all of the shared use Pay by Phone/Permit Holders Only bays on Craven Park Road. The shared use bays will operate Monday-Friday 10am-12pm with a maximum stay of 1 hour and a no return period of 1 hour.

Eade Road N4

To formalise all the existing Resident Permit Holder Only bays (operating Monday-Friday 8am-6:30pm), Single Yellow Lines (operating Monday-Friday 8am-6:30pm) and Double yellow lines on Eade Road. The Single Yellow Lines on both sides of the carriageway at the Eade Road/Hermitage Road junction and the set at the bend in the carriageway outside property no.17 are proposed to be converted into Double Yellow Lines.

Frome Road N22

To convert the existing Single Yellow Line at the north eastern end of the road to a Double Yellow Line with Double Kerb Markings (no loading at any time) on the northern side.

Green Lanes N8

To formalise the existing Single Kerb Markings (no loading) on the Single Yellow Line outside Harringey United Church operating Monday-Saturday 8am-6:30pm.

High Road N17

To replace the existing No Waiting/No Loading restriction outside properties 694-700 to operate as No Waiting/No Loading Monday-Saturday 7am-1pm and on Event Days Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm, Saturday-Sunday & Public Holidays 10am-11pm.

Hornsey High Street N8

To replace the section of Double Yellow Line outside Tesco Express/Harington Charity Shop with a Loading Only bay operating Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm maximum stay 2 hours and no return within 1 hour. The Pay by Phone bay outside no.52 will be extended to adjoin the proposed loading bay.

Northumberland Park N17

To formalise the operational times for the existing Permit Holders Only bays (to Event Days only Monday-Friday 5pm-8:30pm, Saturday-Sunday & Public Holidays 12pm-8pm) and the Double Yellow Lines Double Kerb Markings (no loading at any time) on both sides of the carriageway outside 1-58 Robert Burns House.

Park Lane N17

To formalise the existing Permit Holders Only bay outside properties 72-84 operating Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm and Saturday 8am-10am and to formalise the Single Yellow Line on both sides of the carriageway outside properties 82-92 operating Event Days Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm, Saturday-Sunday & Public Holidays 10am-7pm.

Pellatt Grove N22

To remove the Single Yellow Line within the existing Disabled Parking bays outside no’s.48-58.

Ritches Road N15

To replace the existing Doctor Permit Holders Only bay adjacent to the flank wall of number 336 St Ann’s Road to a shared use Pay by Phone/Resident Permit Holders bay operating Monday-Friday 8am-6:30pm with a maximum stay of 2 hours and no return within 2 hours.

Rusper Road N22

To formalise the operating times of Monday-Friday 8am-6:30pm for the Resident Permit Holder bays outside properties 5-25.

Station Road N22

To formalise the Double Yellow Kerb Markings (no loading at any time) on the south side of the carriageway between the Brabant Road junction and property no.207 (Top Residential).

Trinity Road N22

To formalise the existing Double Yellow Lines, Resident Permit Holder bays (operating Monday-Saturday 8am-6:30pm), Single Yellow Lines (operating Monday-Saturday 8am-6:30pm), School Keep Clear Markings (operating Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm) and shared use Pay by Phone/Resident Permit Holder bays (operating Monday-Saturday 8am-6:30pm with a maximum stay of 2 hours and no return within 2 hours) on Trinity Road between its junctions with Finsbury Road and High Road N22.

Warham Road N4

To convert the Single Yellow Line opposite no.3 to a Double Yellow and extend it westwards by 1.5 metres, reducing the length of the adjacent Resident Permit Holders Only bay.


Date of operation:
The Orders will come into operation on 31st March 2023.

Further details: an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect the Orders during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR, or can be viewed online https://streets.appyway.com/haringey within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made.

Application to the high court: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
