1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Newham ("the Council') proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to designate disabled resident parking places for use only by persons who are resident within the Beckton, Boleyn, Canning Town, Canning Town North, Custom House, East Ham, East Ham South East, Green Street North, Little llford, Manor Park, Market Street, Monega, Plaistow North, Plaistow South, Prince Regent, Ruskin, Stratford, Stratford North East, Stratford North West, Stratford South East, Upton Park and Wakefield Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs), who meet the current criteria for the provision of parking places for disabled persons and who have been issued disabled resident parking permits for their vehicles. Certain other vehicles may wait in the parking places in certain circumstances, e.g., to load or unload goods or pick up or set down passengers. Parking places would be designated outside each of the following locations: -

Beckton Controlled Parking Zone - No. 10 Devalls Close E6 and Nos. 9 & 11 Remington Road E6;

Boleyn Controlled Parking Zone - Nos. 14 & 16 Compton Avenue E6 and Nos. 65, 67 & 69 Creighton Avenue E6.

Canning Town Controlled Parking Zone - Ashburton Road E16 (opposite No.1), No.2 Bowman Avenue E16, Nos. 9 to 25 Lowe Avenue E16, Nos. 25 to 35 Vincent Street E16 and Nos. 7 to 12 Wren Close E16;

Canning Town North Controlled Parking Zone - Nos. 3, 5 & 7 Clifton Road E16, No. 33 Doherty Road ET3, No. 8 Gordon Street E13 and Nos. 261 & 263 Newhaven Lane E16;
