Gloucestershire - Temporary Closure For Severn Trent Pipe Repair Works

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C69 OLD PIKE (STAUNTON) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily 
close part of the C69 Old Pike from outside the property known as Sunset to outside the property known as Sunrise for a distance of approximately 50 metres.

The reason for the closure is for Severn Trent pipe repair works.

The road is expected to be closed from 28th February 2023 until 2nd March 2023 only or until the works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C52 TIBBERTON LANE (TIBBERTON PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of C52 Tibberton Lane from outside the property known as Dart House to outside the property known as Whitegates for a distance of approximately 50 metres.

The reason for the closure is for Severn Trent to install a boundary box within carriageway.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS ABA 77 AND ABA 78 (BADGEWROTTH PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of the Public Footpaths as defined in the schedule below:
SCHEDULE
Part of Public Footpath ABA 77 in the Parish of Badgeworth from its junction with Public Footpath ABA 75 in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 480 metres to its junction with Public Bridleway ABA 125
Public Footpath ABA 78 in the Parish of Badgeworth from its junction with Public Footpath ABA 75 and Public Bridleway ABA 125 in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 117 metres to its junction with Public Footpath ABA 77
The footpaths fall within Badgeworth Parish in the Tewkesbury Borough, in the County of Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to safeguard the public while construction works relating to the A417 Missing Link are completed.
The order will come into force at 07:00 on 28th February 2023 and it is anticipated that the footpaths will remain closed until 19:00 on 28th August 2023. This Order authorises the closure for a period of up to six months if necessary. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.
Alternative Route: Available by following the proposed path in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 174 metres before continuing in a generally northerly and easterly direction for approximately 440m and as signed on site.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC BRIDLEWAYS AUC17, CHS1, CHS2, ABC26 & ABC27 AND 50341 UNCLASSIFIED ROAD (UCKINGTON, SWINDON VILLAGE and BISHOPS CLEEVE PARISHES) CHELTENHAM BOROUGH
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) the Public Bridleways and Unclassified Road stated in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE
Public Bridleway AUC 17 from its junction with Public Bridleway ASO26 in a generally south easterly direction, for approximately 155 metres, to its junction with Public Bridleway CHS1, and continuing as CHS1 (Swindon Village) for approximately 390 metres before continuing along Public Bridleway ABC26 (Bishops Cleeve) for approximately 430 metres and continuing along CHS2 (Swindon Village) for approximately 340 metres and then continuing along Public Bridleway ABC 27 (Bishops Cleeve) for approximately 110 metres before continuing across the railway level crossing, as unclassified highway, 50341 Lane to Lower Farm Bishops Cleeve (Road Number: 50341) for approximately 100 metres to the T-Junction.
The above said Public Bridleways and unclassified road fall within the Parishes of Uckington, Swindon Village and Bishops Cleeve in the Borough of Cheltenham in the County of Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to safeguard the public while works are undertaken on the railway level crossing.
The Order will come into force on the 18th March 2023 and it is anticipated that the above lengths of public highway will be closed on until 30th April 2023 or for up to six months until completion of the works, whichever is earlier. After this date if closure works are still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A46 CLARENCE STREET/NORTH STREET (LANSDOWN, PAULS AND ALL SAINTS WARDS) CHELTENHAM BOROUGH
Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the A46 Clarence Street/North Street from its junction with Clarence Parade to its junction with Albion Street for a distance of approximately 225 metres.

The reason for the closure is for traffic control measures during Cheltenham Races.

Coaches, Taxis and Buses will still be permitted to use the road.

The road is expected to be closed from 14th March 2023 until 17th March 2023 only or until the works have been completed.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE U40691 BUCKLAND ROAD (BUCKLAND PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH
Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the U40691 Buckland Road from its junction with the B4632 to its junction with the road through Laverton for a total distance of approximately 400 metres.

The reason for the closure is in order for Severn Trent to rebuild a sluice valve chamber within the verge.

The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 on 16th March 2023 and 18:00 on 17th March 2023 only or until the

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the classified C69 Road, from its junction with Gloucester Road to Wedderburn Bridge for approximately 20 metres either side of the bridge, making a total distance of approximately 40 metres.

The reason for the closure is to carry out bridge repairs works

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the classified road C57 Forge Lane from approximately 20m either side of the bridge for a total distance of approximately 40 metres.

The reason for the closure is to undertake bridge repair works.

The road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 14th March 2023 only or until the works have been completed.
