NOTICE is given that Sunderland City Council propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53 and 122 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of the Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

THE CITY OF SUNDERLAND
(SUNDERLAND ROYAL HOSPITAL AREA) (PERMIT PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 4) ORDER 20--
NOTICE is given that Sunderland City Council propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53 and 122 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of the Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, by virtue of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act. The effect of the proposed Order is to amend the City of Sunderland (Sunderland Royal Hospital Area) (Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order 2014 as amended by: (i)Extending the Permit Holders Parking Area operating Mon-Fri 10am – 11am and 2pm – 3pm with Permit Reference P2 and B2 to include the roads specified in Schedule 1 below and (ii)Revoking the items from the order specified in the Schedule 2 below. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order may be inspected during normal opening hours at City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland SR1 3AA, until six weeks have elapsed from the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to proceed to make the Order. An electronic copy of the documents can also be obtained by emailing: statutoryorders@sunderland.gov.uk. Objections to the Order must be made in writing to E. Waugh, Assistant Director of Law and Governance at City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland SR1 3AA or via email at: statutoryorders@sunderland.gov.uk on or before the 20th March 2023 and any objection must state the grounds on which it is made. Schedule 1
Arlington Street from a point 1.3 metres west of its intersection with the western highway boundary of Pallion Road, to its western extent.
Arlington Street North Back from a point 6.6 metres west of its intersection with the western highway boundary of Pallion Road, to its western extent.
Faraday Grove from a point 10.8 metres north of its intersection with the extended northern highway boundary of Hylton Road, to its northern extent.
Fordland Place from a point 1.5 metres north of its intersection with the extended northern highway boundary of Kimberley Street, to a point 0.7 metres north of its intersection with the northern highway boundary of Hylton Road.
Hazledene Terrace North Back from a point 2.6 metres west of its intersection with the western highway boundary of Pallion Road, to its western extent.
Cleveland Road North Back from a point 5.3 metres west from the extended western highway boundary of Dunbar Street, to a point 4.5 metres west of the extended western highway boundary of Eastfield Street.
Ferndene Crescent, Fordland Place East Back, Fordland Place West Back, Hazledene Terrace, Highfield Place, Kimberley Street, Romford Street, Romford Street East Back, Tamerton Street, for their entire extent.

Arlington Street from a point 1.3 metres west of its intersection with the western highway boundary of Pallion Road, to its intersection with the extended party property boundary of 21 Arlington Street & 46 Fordland Place.
Fordland Place from a point 0.7 metres north of its intersection with the northern highway boundary of Hylton Road, to its intersection with the extended party property boundary of 60 & 62 Fordland Place.
Fordland Place East Back, Fordland Place West Back, Highfield Place, Romford Street, Romford Street East Back, Tamerton Street, for their entire extent.
