NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sheffield City Council proposes to make Orders under the provisions of Sections 1, 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 46A, 49, 51, 53 and 124(1)(c), (d) (f) and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Orders will be to introduce:
Electric Vehicle Charging Parking Places on parts of Albert Road Car Park, Broomspring Lane Car Park, Ebenezar Street Car Park, Fitzwilliam Street Car Park, Lancing Road Car Park, Shipton Street Car Park, Spooner Road Car Park, Stewart Road Car Park, Trinity Street Car Park and Windrush Way Car Park;
Off-Street Parking Places on parts of Heart of the Campus and The
Mews Car Park;
The power to suspend the use of Parking Places in all the off-street car parks;
Updated the Schedule for all off-street car parks.

And remove:

Off-Street Parking Places on parts of Clun Road Car Park, 33 Collegiate Crescent Car Park, Grimesthorpe Road South Car Park, Marshall Hall – Collegiate Crescent, Montgomery House – 32 Collegiate Crescent and Yorkon Building – Broomgrove Road Car Park.

A copy of the proposed Orders, plans showing the roads concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be examined during normal opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH.

Any observations either supporting or objecting to the proposed Orders, including the grounds for your objection, should be sent in writing to the undersigned by the 16 March 2023.
