(TRAFFIC MOVEMENT AND SPEED LIMIT REGULATIONS) (MAP BASED) (SPEED LIMIT) (AMENDMENT No. 16) ORDER 2023

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 16th February 2023 the Council of the London Borough of Havering did make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended

2. The general effect of the Order will be to :-

a) Extend the existing 30mph speed limit in Ockendon Road (north side of property No 1 Ockendon Road) by 187m northwards past the junction of B1421 Ockendon Road, near to White Post Farm

b) Extend the existing 30mph speed limit on Ockendon Road (B186) for 75m south eastwards, south of Castle Cottages

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on the 17th February 2023, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be obtained by emailing schemes@havering.gov.uk, until the expiration of

a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of either of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
