What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
(WHITE WALTHAM, SHOTTESBROOKE AND LITTLEWICK GREEN) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2023
SECTION 16A ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule below between the times shown therein. The restrictions shall apply to those lengths of roads specified in the Schedules at such times when signs in accordance with the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are duly in place to indicate the said restrictions.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, namely the Maidenhead Easter Ten 2023 road race.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Friday 7 April 2023 and will remain in effect on that day only.
