TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
Moorgate, Bury - eastbound, Peter St to Bold St
Temporary Revocation of East Ward Regeneration (Parsonage St, Bury) 7.5t
Weight Limit Order 2002 - Bell Lane to Wash Lane (to permit vehicles exceeding
7.5t to proceed along Parsonage St to facilitate alternative routes)
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate sewer remedial works.
The alternative route will be via Walmersley Rd, Taylor St and Brook St.
Access to Moorgate Retail Park will be via Derby Way, Rochdale Rd, Bond St and
Wash Lane.
The Order will come into operation on Saturday 18 February 2023 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 3 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is 3 weeks (9am-3pm). Dated 16 February 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along :-
Haslam Brow, Bury (junction Wells Street) - Temp Rd Closure.
The closure is in place to enable replacement of water main in carriageway.
Diversion route will is not applicable.
The proposed order comes into operation on 18/02/23 and remains in force for up to
3 months (anticipated duration of works - 2 weeks.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-Whittaker Lane, Prestwich - Temp Rd Closure.
The closure is in place to enable telecoms work in the carriageway.
Diversion route via Bury Old Rd, Heywood Rd, Scholes Lane and vice versa.
The proposed order comes into operation on 27/02/23 and remains in force for up to 3 months (anticipated duration of works - 1 week.
