What is happening?

STEVENAGE BOROUGH COUNCIL

THE BOROUGH OF STEVENAGE

(DANESGATE AND DANESTRETE, STEVENAGE)

(PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING OR UNLOADING) AND (REVOCATION) ORDER 2023 and

THE BOROUGH OF STEVENAGE

(DANESGATE, STEVENAGE) (DISABLED PERSON'S VEHICLES PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Stevenage Borough Council with the consent of Hertfordshire County Council in Order to improve road safety and improve the amenities of the area proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The general effect of the Orders will be to introduce 'no waiting, no loading or unloading at any time' restrictions as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice, revoke certain existing restrictions first introduced in 2003 as set out in Schedules 2 and 3 to this Notice and introduce disabled person's vehicles parking places as set out in Schedule 4 of this Notice.

Documents giving more detailed particulars may be inspected from 16 February 2023 during normal office hours at the Council offices, Daneshill House, Danestrete, Stevenage SG1 1HN or may be viewed online at https:// www.stevenage.gov.uk/proposed-traffic-orders

General enquiries relating to the proposals should be referred to Liviu Azoicai via email at tro@stevenage.gov.uk or by telephone 01438 242 242.

Objections to the proposals, stating the grounds on which they are made must be sent in writing to Liviu Azoicai, Stevenage Borough Council, Daneshill House, Danestrete, Stevenage SG1 1 HN or tro@stevenage.gov.uk by 10 March 2023.
