(WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2021 (AMENDMENT No.12) ORDER 2022
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 The Kent County Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority, in exercise of its powers and under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1) and (2), 32(1), 35(1), 44, 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the following Order:-
The effect of the made named Order will introduce or remove Disabled Persons Parking Bays on the following length of roads in Thanet:- Roads in Broadstairs in the District of Thanet CROW HILL – Remove bay across the frontage of 20 Crow Hill. LINDEN AVENUE – New bay across the frontage of 20 Linden Avenue. PERCY AVENUE – New bay across the frontage of 61 Percy Avenue. GLADSTONE ROAD – New bay across the frontage of 21 Gladstone Road. WALMSLEY ROAD – Remove bay across the frontage of 47 Walmsley Road Roads in Margate in the District of Thanet DANE ROAD – New bay across the frontage of 14 Dane Road. FULHAM AVENUE – Remove bay across the frontage of 2a Fulham Avenue. GLEBE ROAD, GARLINGE – New bay across the frontage of 9 Glebe Road. GODWIN ROAD – Remove bay across the frontage of 39 Godwin Road. GORDON ROAD – Remove bay across the frontage of 18 Gordon Road. HASTINGS AVENUE – New bay across the
frontage of 43 Hastings Avenue. MILTON AVENUE – New bay across the frontage of 60 Milton Avenue. OXFORD STREET – Remove bay across the frontage of 31 Oxford Street. POETS CORNER – New bay across the frontage of 11 Poets Corner. PRICES AVENUE – Remove bay across the frontage of 37 Prices Avenue. RICHMOND AVENUE – New bay across the frontage of 1 Richmond Avenue. STATION ROAD – Remove bay across the frontage of 17 Station Road. ST FRANCIS CLOSE – New bay across the frontage of 23 St Francis Close. UPPER DANE ROAD – New bay across the frontage of 3 Upper Dane Road. Roads in Ramsgate in the District of Thanet BELLEVUE ROAD – New bay across the frontage of 68 Bellevue Road. BUXTON ROAD – New bay across the frontage of 24 Buxton Road. CRESCENT ROAD – Remove bay across the frontage of 84 Crescent Road. DANE ROAD – New bay across the frontage of 3 Dane Road. DANE PARK ROAD – New bay across the frontage of 27 Dane Park Road. EDITH ROAD – New bay across the frontage of 21 Edith Road. FINSBURY ROAD – Remove bay across the frontage of 13 Finsbury Road. HERESON ROAD – New bay across the frontage of 222 Hereson Road. LORINA ROAD – New bay across the frontage of 62 Lorina Road. QUEENS AVENUE – New bay across the frontage of 17 Queens Avenue. RAWDON ROAD – New bay across the frontage of 19 Rawdon Road. ROSEBERY AVENUE – New bay across the frontage of 8 Rosebery Avenue. ROYAL ROAD – New bay across the frontage of 21 Royal Road. ST DAVIDS ROAD – New bay across the frontage of 47 St Davids Road. SYDNEY ROAD – Remove bay across the frontage of 26 Sydney Road. VICTORIA ROAD – Remove bay across the frontage of 2 Trinity Court, Victoria Road Roads in Westgate-On-Sea in the District of Thanet VICTORIA AVENUE – New bay across the frontage of 13 Victoria Avenue. WESTGATE BAY AVENUE – New bay across the rear of 83a Sea Road The Order was made on 23rd February 2023 and its provisions will come into effect on 24th February 2023. A full statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, a plan indicating
the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the made Order may be examined at The Gateway Plus, Cecil Street, Margate, Kent, CT9 1RE by appointment booked via calling the Civil Enforcement Department on 01843 577471 or viewed online from 24th February at www.thanet.gov.uk Anyone may, by application to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date of publication of this Notice, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement to the Orders.
