What is happening?
(WOOD LANE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding along the following stretches of road: l Wood Lane closed in both directions from side of property 20 Wood Lane to side of property 2 Moreton Road. The vehicular diversion route is: Elston Hall Lane, Bushbury Lane, Legs Lane, Primrose Avenue and vice versa. l Lincoln Green closed in both directions at its junction with Wood Lane. The vehicular diversion route is: Alleston Road, School Lane, Short Road, Elston Hall Road and vice versa. l Moreton Road closed in both directions at its junction with Wood Lane. The vehicular diversion route is: Short Road, Elston Hall Lane and vice versa. It is anticipated that the above road closures will be in place from the 27 February 2023 until the 17 March 2023 (approximately). The Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works by Cadent.
