1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent on 13th February 2023 made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, the Parking Acts of 1986 and 1989 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.2. The general effect of the Orders will be to impose, on additional dates, the system of traffic and parking control, operating in the Wembley Stadium Area when a major Event is taking place at the stadium. The new dates to be added are:-
26th February 2023; 26th March 2023; 2nd, 6th, 22nd, 23rd and 29th April 2023; 13th, 14th, 20th, 27th, 28th and 29th May 2023; 3rd, 11th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th June 2023; 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 14th, 15th, 21st, and 22nd July 2023; 6th, 12th, 19th, 20th, 26th and 27th August 2023.
Note - The South Way two-way traffic flow scheme is expected to operate on all of the above specified dates.
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 26th February 2023, of the relevant Orders of 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020 (and of the Orders which have amended those Orders), and of a map of the relevant area can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ.
4. Copies of the Orders may be purchased from the address mentioned in paragraph 3 above.
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to any of the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
