What is happening?

HARINGEY COUNCIL - PUBLIC NOTICE

PROPOSED DEDICATED DISABLED PARKING PLACES BATCH 2023-04, VARIOUS ROADS, LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY, THE HARINGEY (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.***) ORDER 202* THE HARINGEY (CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. ***) ORDER 202*

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other powers.

2. The General Effects of the Orders would be:

(i) To introduce Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays, operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; relocation of existing bay from outside No.3 Elms Avenue N10 to outside No.1 Elms Avenue N10, No.5 Bloomfield Road N6, No.7 Mary Neuner Road N8, No.9 Park Avenue South N8, No.9 Springfield Road N15, No.11 Lockmead Road N15, No.13 Saxon Road N22, No.16 Ashley Road N17 outside Rosa Luxemburg Apartments, No.25 Daleview Road N15, No.31 Boyton Road N8, College Road N17 adjacent to No.4 College Park Road, No.50 Maryland Road N22, No.70 Northumberland Park N17, No.74 Avondale Road N15, No.98 Hermitage Road N4, No.105 Dukes Avenue N10, No.110 Manor Road N17, No.114 Muswell Hill Road N10, No.114 The Roundway N17, No.118 Greyhound Road N17, Awlfield Avenue N17 adjacent to No.173 Risley Avenue, opposite No.21-No.43 Tiverton Road N15, No.4-No.5 Hatchfield House Langford Close N15, Summerhill Road N15 adjacent to No.1 to No.20 Redlands.

(ii) To convert existing Disabled Parking Bays to Dedicated Disabled Permit Holders Only Parking Bays, operating at any time, whilst also extending them to measure 6.6 metres in length, outside (unless otherwise stated) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.17 Stanhope Gardens N4, No.22 Kevelioc Road N17, No.26 Fairfax Road N8, Truro Road N22 opposite No.76 Trinity Road (bay will be relocated 6 metres west), No.94Truro Road N22.

(iii) To remove Disabled Parking Bays outside (unless otherwise stated) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.2 Norfolk Close N13, No.18 Walpole Road N17, No.31 Fairbourne Road N17, No.49 Wellington Avenue N15, No.55 St Margarets Road N17, No.76 Cavendish Road N4, No.224 Hermitage Road N4, No.12 Halefield Road N17, No.14 Gisburn Road N8.

(iv) To remove Dedicated Disabled Permit Holders Only Parking Bays, outside (unless otherwise stated) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.5 Wellesley Road N22, No.10 Elyne Road N4, No.17 Junction Road N17, No.77 Wellington Avenue N15,

(v) To introduce Disabled Parking Bays outside (unless otherwise stated) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.79 Napier Road N17.

The Dedicated Disabled Parking Bay would specifically be for the use of the permit holder for which it would be authorised. No other permit or blue badge would be valid for use within the proposed parking place except for the permit for which it was issued.

(vi) To revoke the relevant underlying Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section 2(i) and (v) of this notice.

(vii) To reinstate the Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section 2(iii) and (iv) of this notice.

(viii)To formalise the Loading bay on Ashley Road N17 outside No.16 Rosa Luxemburg Apartments, a length of 9.9metres.

(ix) To extend the single yellow line outside No.72 Avondale Road N15 by 2.4 metres. This will replace resident permit holder bay restrictions.

3. A copy of the proposed Orders, a copy of this notice, a copy of the Council's statement of reasons for making the proposed Orders and plan(s) showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be viewed via the online consultation portal https://consultation.appyway.com/ haringey Alternatively, an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic. orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect these documents during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR. Appointments to inspect the documents will be available until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

4. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders or make other representation should send grounds for their objection via the online portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey or alternatively email traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk or write to Traffic Management Group, Alexandra House, 4th floor, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR quoting reference 2023-T05, by 8th March 2023.
