What is happening?

Renfrewshire Council

The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Paisley in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

Maxwellton Street, Paisley

Maxwellton Street, From George Street to Broomlands Street

Reason for Restriction: Carriageway Resurfacing.

Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area. Local and Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative Routes: George Street, A761 Westbound, Broomlands Street or Vice Versa.

This order will be in force on Monday 27th February 2023 until Sunday 16th March 2023.This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016. Ref. EN/2023/JMC/03

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

Broomlands Street, Paisley

Broomlands Street, From Well St to Gallow Green Road.

Reason for Restriction: Carriageway Resurfacing.

Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area. Local and Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative Routes: Well Street, Underwood Road, Gallow Green Road and Castle Street, George Street, Lady Lane, Wellmeadow Street or Vice Versa.

This order will be in force on Monday 20th February 2023 until Sunday 9th March 2023.

This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016. Ref. EN/2023/JMC/03
