THE BOROUGH OF STOCKTON-ON-TEES

A135 (CONCORDE WAY), MOSS WAY, DE HAVILLAND AVENUE AND DOUGLAS CLOSE, STOCKTON

TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2023

Notice is hereby given that Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.

The Order will have the effect of prohibiting any vehicle waiting, loading or unloading goods at any time along various lengths of A135 Concorde Way (North Side), Moss Way (West, North, East and South Side), De Havilland Avenue (East and West Side) and Douglas Close (West and East Side), Stockton as detailed in the draft Order and shown by the solid red line on the order plan.

Full details of the proposals are contained in the draft Order which, together with a map showing the affected roads and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined at the Stockton Customer Service Centre, Central Library, The Square, Stockton-on-Tees during normal office hours and on the Council’s website (Traffic Orders). 

If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing to Highway Network and Flood Risk Manager, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, Community Services, Environment and Culture, Municipal Buildings, Church Road, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 1LD or HTD@Stockton.gov.uk by 13th March 2023.
