(BOROUGH OF HINCKLEY AND BOSWORTH) (AMENDMENT 29)
(PECKLETON LANE, DESFORD) ORDER 202
THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1), 2(4) 3(2) 4, 5 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be:
1. To revoke the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on part of Peckleton Lane from its junction with High Street in a southerly direction for a distance of 777 metres in the Parish of Desford.
2. To impose a 7.5 tonne weight restriction on part of Peckleton Lane from its junction with High Street to a point 897 metres south of its junction with High Street.
A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan illustrating the proposals and an explanatory statement giving the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at my offices, Room 200, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA and at the offices of Hinckley and Bosworth Brough Council, Hinckley Hub, Rugby Road, Hinckley LE10 0FR.
