Gravesham, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders

GRAVESHAM AREA

CRETE HALL ROAD, NORTHFLEET DA11 9AD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Vodafone works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Crete Hall Road, Northfleet, on or after 20th February 2023 for up to 3 days between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Granby Road and Kimberley Clarke.

There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.

CHURCH LANE, GRAVESEND (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of the replacement of a street lighting column, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Lane, Gravesend, on or after 9th March 2023 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between number 25 and Lower Higham Road.
The alternative route is via A226 Rochester Road, Filborough Way, Castle Lane, Lower Higham Road and vice versa.

FERGUSON AVENUE, GRAVESEND (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ferguson Avenue, Gravesend, on or after 7th March 2023 for up to 3 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 19.
The alternative route is via Ferguson Avenue, Burton Road, Christianfields Avenue, Baffin Road and vice versa.

THE GROVE, GRAVESEND (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Grove, Gravesend, on or after 6th March 2023 for up to 5 days or until the works
have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 13.

The alternative route for: Northbound traffic is via Parrock Street, Edwin Street, Saddington Street. Southbound traffic is via Saddington Street, Peacock Street, St Andrew’s Road
