What is happening?
Highways
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
DARTFORD AREA
CLEMENT STREET, SWANLEY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Clement Street, Swanley,
on or after 9th March 2023 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Old Mill Equestrian Centre.
The alternative route is via Clement Street, Arnolds Lane, A225 Hawley Road, B258 Church Hill/High Road/Barn End Lane/Top Dartford Road, Lower Road and vice versa.

Kent County Council intends to make an Order for the safety of the public whilst an event is being held on the highway to temporarily prohibit the use of Vehicles on:-
Lowfield Street, Dartford
Parsonage Lane and Darenth Road (rolling road closure)
No diversion required Traffic management Vehicle slow moving behind runners, delays up to 10 minutes no closure required

Darenth Road and Darenth Road fast track from 10:00 to 12:00
No diversion required closure will be in place for periods up to 5 minutes to allow runners to pass
The Order will be effective when required on Sunday 5 March 2023. The restrictions/prohibitions specified in this notice will apply in the direction and only at such times as indicated by traffic signs in operation.
Nothing in the Order will apply to: Any Vehicle being used for Ambulance purposes, Coastguard/RNLI, Fire Brigade or Police services
Anything done by a Statutory Undertaker vehicle in connection with an emergency repair
Anything done with the permission or at the direction of an Event Organiser or a Police Constable in Uniform
GILBERT CLOSE, SWANSCOMBE.DA10 0NH (PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of the construction of 24 parking spaces either side of the road, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on part of Gilbert Close, Swanscombe, on or after 20th February 2023 for up to 35 days or until the works have been completed.
The footways will be closed both sides of the road between numbers 1 and 48.
LITTLE QUEEN STREET, DARTFORD. DA1 1SW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has
made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic
on part of Little Queen Street, Dartford, on or after 20th
February 2023 for up to 4 days between 09.30hrs and
15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with St Albans
Road.
The alternative route is via St Albans Road, A226 East
Hill, Great Queen Street, Little Queen Street and vice
versa.
