TRAFFIC ORDER 2022 (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2023
Hillingdon Council gives notice that it proposes to make these Orders to:
1. Install ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions in sections of roads as set out in the Schedule to this notice below.
2. Install a blue badge disabled parking bay Outside No. 13 Napier Close, West Drayton partially on the footway.
3. Convert part of the existing Zone WD6 residents permit holder parking place outside No. 78 Mulberry Crescent, West Drayton to blue badge disabled parking bay.
4. Remove the following redundant disabled parking bays:
i) Outside No. 63 Hobart Road, Hayes
ii) Outside No. 6 Hunters Hill, Ruislip
5. Install sections of waiting restrictions operational ‘Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm’ in the following sections of Cowley Mill Road, Uxbridge:
i) Between the junctions of Hilton Close and Ashley Road.
ii) Between the junctions of Ashley Road and Wallingford Road.
iii) Extend the existing waiting restrictions outside Nos. 62a and 62b Cowley Mill Road up to the proposed double yellow lines at the junction with Church Close.
Copies of the notice of proposals, proposed Orders together with full details, plans and the Council’s statement of reasons for the proposals can be sent upon request or viewed online at https://www.hillingdon.gov.uk/improvement-schemes until 8th March 2023. SCHEDULE
PROPOSED ‘AT ANY TIME’ WAITING RESTRICTIONS
ABBOTSWOOD WAY, HAYES
i) The west side of the road between the junction with Priory Close to south of the junction with Abbey Close.
ii) The east side of the road from outside No. 54 Abbotswood Way to south of the junction with Avondale Drive.
iii) On the southern side of the road outside Nos. 125 to 133 Abbotswood Way.
iv) On the southern side of the road outside Nos. 63 to 71 Abbotswood Way.
ABBEY CLOSE, HAYES – At the junction with Abbotswood Way, extended on the northern side outside No. 40 Abbey Close.
AVONDALE DRIVE, HAYES – Along the southern and eastern sides of the road, between the junction with Abbotswood Way and a point 21 metres northwest of the northwestern flank wall of No.135 Avondale Drive.
PRIORY CLOSE, HAYES
i) Along the western side of the road opposite Nos. 29 to 36 Priory Close.
ii) Along southwestern side of Priory Close outside Nos. 1 to 10 Priory Close. HINTON ROAD, UXBRIDGE
i) Extend the existing double yellow lines on the north side of the road near the junction with Cowley Road by 18 metres northeastwards.
ii) Extend the existing double yellow lines on the north side of the road near the junction with Whitehall Road by 21 metres southwestwards.
THE OAKS, RUISLIP – Convert the existing single yellow lines to double yellow lines on both sides of the road between the existing double yellow lines at the junction with High Street and loading bay outside Nos. 1 & 2 Park Cottages.
COWLEY MILL ROAD, UXBRIDGE
i) Convert the existing single yellow lines on the southwest side of the road from the junction with St John’s Road to the junction with Hilton Close to double yellow lines.
ii) Convert and existing single yellow lines to double yellow lines on the northeast side of the road from the junction with St John’s Road, continuing past the entrance to Grand Junction Place.
iii) At the junction with Church Close.
iv) On the northern side of the road between Atlantic House and the width restriction on approach to the bridge over the Grand Union Canal.
v) Extend the existing double yellow lines on the south side of the road from the junction with Wallingford Road up the width restriction on approach to the bridge over the Grand Union Canal.
HILTON CLOSE, UXBRIDGE – Convert the existing single yellow lines at the junction with Cowley Mill Road to double yellow lines. CHURCH CLOSE, UXBRIDGE – At the junction with Cowley Mill Road.
WALLINGFORD ROAD, UXBRIDGE – Extend the existing double yellow lines on both sides of the road at the junction with Cowley Mill Road southwards to include the remainder of the adopted highway.
ST JOHN’S ROAD, UXBRIDGE – Along both sides of the road between a point west of No. 45 St John’s Road and the Borough Boundary with Buckinghamshire Council.
MOORHALL ROAD, HAREFIELD – Extend the existing double yellow lines on the southeast side of the road opposite Widewater Place by 21 metres northeastwards.
WHITBY ROAD, RUISLIP – Extend the existing double yellow lines near the junction with Victoria Road by 10 metres northeastwards.
WESTBOURNE ROAD, HAYES – Extend the existing double yellow lines near the junction with the Uxbridge Road on the northwest side of the road by 10 metres southwestwards.
