What is happening?
LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING
NOTICE OF MAKING OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER FOR PLANNED WORKS AFFECTING: ROSEWOOD AVENUE & ROBIN HOOD WAY, GREENFORD.
Ealing Council intends to make the following temporary traffic order under section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
Title of order
This order can be referred to as: Temporary traffic order for planned works - TT 3805 Rosewood Avenue & Robin Hood Way, Greenford - 2023.
Reason for order
This order is needed to allow for works taking place on or near the road. These works involve Cappagh on behalf of Thames Water repairing a carriageway sever chamber in Rosewood Avenue, Greenford.
Effect of order
1. Waiting, loading and unloading restrictions will be temporarily implemented at the following locations on Rosewood Avenue & Robin Hood Way;
(a) Along the kerbline from property number 28 to 36 Rosewood Avenue & along the kerbline outside properties 96 to 100 Robin Hood Way.
2. The waiting, loading or unloading of vehicles on the extent of Rosewood Avenue & Robin Hood Way, to which the prohibitions and restrictions apply at any time from 27th February 2023 until 17th March 2023, will be enforced with the issue of a Penalty Charge Notice.
3. The above temporary restrictions and prohibitions will only apply at specified locations where appropriate traffic signs are provided and displayed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual.
4. While the temporary restrictions are in place, displaced vehicles must comply with any traffic management measures.
5. This Order does not apply to:
(a) anything done at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a police community support officer (PCSO);
(b) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
Date order will come into force 27th February 2023
Maximum duration of order
This order will expire on 26th August 2024 or, on completion of the works, which is expected to be 17th March 2023, whichever is sooner.
